CMENC General Session: CMP Crash Course |
Presented by: Laura Sindberg, Appleton, WI
|
Presider: Nicole Hudachek, Eau Claire |
What is CMP? “I heard about it somewhere….but I forget where…not quite sure what it is…” Sound familiar?
In this session, we will get a taste of this model designed to help students understand the music they are learning in band, choir, and orchestra. Participants will experience CMP through a hands-on session designed to illuminate what CMP is as well as how and why it works. From there, our conversation will include thoughts on implementation, including a few subversive strategies to incorporate in your teaching.
