SEASON LENGTH:

  • CHOIR
    • January to April – one concert
    • Year round – summer (10), fall (4), winter (6), spring (4)
    • Labor Day to Mothers’ Day – Generally 2 major concerts plus Memorial Day
    • Early November to Palm Sunday – 2 concerts on Palm Sunday
    • September to May – 3 Christmas/2 Winter with Orchestra/ 2 Spring
    • As needed – No set season
    • 1 or 2 – Christmas and Spring
    • 1 or 2 – Usually Spring and sometimes excerpts from the Messiah at the holidays
    • September to May – 2 or 3 concerts
    • September to April – 1 or 2 concerts
  • BAND/ORCHESTRA
    • Year round – available year round for community performances
    • September through August
    • March through August
    • April through December

    • We rehearse 47 out of 52 Tuesdays!
    • In the winter we are a British brass band and in the summer we turn into a big band without reeds.
    • 20 performances per year (3 bands)
    • 10 concerts and 10 parades per year
    • 9 concerts and 3 parades per year
    • 11 concerts per year
    • 10 concerts with additional dance band performance (performing festivals, at churches, and weddings)
    • 6 concerts per year
    • 2 concerts per year
