UW-Whitewater CMENC chapter has 39 members.
Our chapter activities inlude Sounds and Visions, a program held for area elementary students where they can learn about music and different instruments, each year with a different theme. Last year, our theme was "Colors!" and this year, it is "Circus!" We also bring in musicians and speakers, and help our music department with State Solo and Ensemble festival. Earlier this year, we held a teacher panel where music education majors could ask five various teachers, from a student teacher to a retired teacher, from elementary to high school, orchestra to general, any questions about their experiences.
