Committee Duties
Web Editor
The Web Editor will update Wisconsin’s CMENC website as needed (approximately once a month). Up-to-date information concerning CMENC events such as MIOSM, Collegiate Conference, State Music Conference and others should be included. At the beginning of each year, information will be requested from all chapters to update the officer listing for the state’s chapters. Permission needs to be received from the officers in order to post their name on the web. This information can be requested by e-mails, or by letter. Reminders should be placed in the newsletter to remind CMENC members across the state to visit the web site and verify their chapter’s information. Other items that should be included and updated are:
- The newsletter
- Chapter updates
- Committee member updates
The website should be reviewed frequently to remove old information. Copies of the newsletters should remain there in archive files as a part of the website.
The Web Editor will need to either be familiar with or willing to learn how to use website-designing software.
