Call for the WMEA Research Poster Session

Notification: October 1, 2010

Wisconsin music educators have continued to produce research in music education across the 50-year history of the WMEC/WMEA. Here is your chance to present your research to benefit the future of music education. Research studies should not have been previously published, but may also represent work in progress. You are especially encouraged to submit undergraduate research or collaborative studies with undergraduate students.

Submit an extended abstract of the study (300-500 words), which outlines the purpose, methodology and findings of the study. These should be sent electronically as an attachment with a title, but no name to Sheila Feay-Shaw, Research Chair at feayshaw@uwm.edu. In the body of the email, include name, address, phone and school/professional affiliation. Notification of receipt and if deemed appropriate, approval will be sent to the same email address.

If selected for presentation, each author must register for the conference and be in attendance. Specific information regarding this will be sent upon acceptance. The poster session will take place on Thursday, October 28 at Monona Terrace, Madison.
